This book will teach you exactly how to choose your Labrador Retriever puppy (if you don't own one already), and how to train him/her quickly and effectively. Every training step provided by the author is very well explained, so you should have no problems training your dog by yourself. Definitely recommended!
Very short and to the point. I read it in about 10 minutes. You can find the same information on a website, so I wouldn't bother spending the money on this book. It has about 2-4 pages per topic. House training is like 3 pages...not exactly revolutionary, but not incorrect either. It's not that the book is bad or wrong, it's just not in-depth or more than you can find on any dog training website for free.
My puppy is a lab Shepard mix. He seems to be a very intelligent dog. This book helped me enormously to start training him to potty out side and to walk on a leash. He's also very good with other dogs and my cats. If you want to train your puppy to behave yet be playful, read this book.
More of an overview than actual training manual. It is helpful, however, on the basics at a fair price.
